Good Life

How to define a good life?  Is it a high-paid job? Is it a happy marriage? or is it a combination of the two? I think most people would agree that they are both the ingredients of a good life. Sometimes we might be able to have those two, but time passes by, people got divorced, they got resigned from their high-paid job, or even the loved one died. Some people are able to get recovered, some people just simply do not take so well. Some of them commit suicide, they give up or and live without hope and dreams. While they try to trash themselves, they blame other people. They don’t understand everything happens for a reason. They don’t understand that as long as they are willing to climb the hill again, one day everything will come back or even better. It is called faith. The rest of them try to climb. They take risks, work hard, and are willing to do whatever it takes. Some points on the road, they might got frustrated. They might face some obstacles, but they remember to stick with it and think creative. One day, they will achieve the goals and got what they want.

To conclude, a good life is not given. It is controlled by your hands, by your efforts, by your drive, by your persistence. What one can control is approximately 70%. The rest 30% is pure luck. It cannot be controlled or even predicted. Just remember next time will be better and work harder if you fail this time.

there is something about TV

TV is a Evil thing, I have a hard time to turn it off if it is on. Sitcoms, movies, news, even the shopping channel, I watch them all. TV producers tend to write some fascinating stories which are hardly even occurred in real life. People watch them because they are so desperate to hear the irrational stories, the tragic life and death events or derivatives they desire one of these days they can actually live on; however, mostly the stories are written to fulfill the essence of what people are missing today: loneliness. It is good to fulfill that, but the downside is people got brainwashed and the perception they got is that the stories or events can actually occur in real life if some sacrifice are made or the life style is changed. Some people do fall on that and they don’t even noticed; it is like a psychoactive drug. After people awake, they usually regret that they fell on that trap. But things are never changed. They continue to feel the stories. It is a torture for some people because of the non-stop cycles as long as people watch TV.

However, TV is part of everyone’s life as long as people don’t spend too much time on it.

People, reduce the time you spend on watching TV in half and you will be amazed how you changed because it does not damage your minds. And I must say without TV, I am not going to live.
